3:00pm - 5:00pm
Learn to crochet with recycled plastic bags. We will create sleeping mats for unhoused residents and those experiencing homelessness.
Learn to crochet with recycled plastic bags and help create sleeping mats for unhoused residents and those experiencing homelessness with Crochet4Change. These mats are durable, lightweight, and waterproof in addition to having great insulation. As a result, they are incredibly beneficial to those who are homeless, especially during cold months, in which they are at high risk of hypothermia.
Instruction and materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own plastic bags to reuse and recycle!
Crochet4Change will meet in Group Meeting Room 5.
