Explore the history, science and creative possibilities of animation as you create three optical toys: a thaumatrope, a zoetrope strip and a flip-book.
Registration required. Space is limited to 15 participants ages 10-15. Art supplies will be provided to be used during the workshop.
If any participant is registered and cannot attend, please contact the Wheaton Library (240-777-0678) to cancel the registration so that other individuals on the waiting list can participate.
Customers on the waiting list will be contacted if space is available.
This workshop is in partnership with artist Leila Cabib and funded in part by a Wheaton Cultural Project Grant from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.

Accommodation Requests
