Browse books, graphic novels, art, and media by contemporary Hispanic and Latino creators. Create a collage, recommendation card, or short zine page. No registration is required.

Explore books, graphic novels, poetry, art, and media by contemporary Hispanic and Latino creators. Browse first, and then choose a creative or recommendation activity based on what interests you.

You can:

• make a collage or drawing inspired by a title, image, or theme.
• write a recommendation card or shelf talker.
• create a short zine page.
• browse quietly and choose something to borrow or place on hold

Work independently, with a partner, or alongside other teens. Written and visual prompts will be available, and staff can help you begin. You do not need to share or finish a project during the program.

Materials will be available while supplies last. No experience is needed.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
