Celebrating Native American Heritage Month

For Native American Heritage Month, we will retell the Three Sisters legend and make a craft focused on Beans, Squash, and Corn.

Native Americans learned long ago that certain plants grew well together, supporting one another as they shared the same soil.  This knowledge was passed down through the Three Sisters legend.  Join us as we retell the legend and make a craft celebrating how beans, squash, and corn make one tasty family.  Held in the Meeting Room.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
