Poetry on Saturday
@ Quince Orchard Library
Saturday, September 26
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Join us to read, write, and share poetry in a welcoming, supportive group. Whether you're an experienced poet or just getting started, there's a place for you.
A writing prompt* is offered for each session, but you're welcome to write about any topic. If you write a poem, please bring about 12 copies so we can read and discuss it together. You can also come just to listen and join the discussion, no poem required. At our December meeting, we share poems by our favorite published poets. During the rest of the year, we focus on sharing our own writing.
*For the prompt for our upcoming session, please call the Quince Orchard Library at 240-777-0200.
Check out Echoes Through the Stacks: Celebrating Five Years of Poems Penned at Quince Orchard Library to learn more about our poets and the program.
