Join us to discuss the "This Tender Land" by William Kent Krueger.

The Novel Views Fiction Book Discussion meets in Group Study Room 5, located on the lower level of the library, in the Children's Room

Join us to talk about this month's selection "This Tender Land" by William Kent Krueger.

"1932, Minnesota. The Lincoln School is a pitiless place where hundreds of Native American children, forcibly separated from their parents, are sent to be educated. It is also home to an orphan named Odie O'Banion, a lively boy whose exploits earn him the superintendent's wrath. Forced to flee, he and his brother Albert, their best friend Mose, and a little girl named Emmy steal away in a canoe, heading for the mighty Mississippi and a place to call their own."-- From the book jacket.

Print copies may be available at the Germantown Library after April 8, 2026.

Available on Overdrive/Libby as an eBook and as an eAudioBook.   Available on Hoopla as an eAudiobook.
