Meipo Martin from the Montgomery County Master Gardeners Speakers Bureau will speak about houseplants: how they function and essential care. For beginners and those more knowledgeable.
The speaker will discuss light, temperature, humidity, and soil requirements, how/when/how much to water, and how to fertilize. The discussion will also include grooming, trimming, pruning, pinching, plus cultivation issues, common pests and remedies, and how to pick a healthy plant suitable for your home. The event will be in the Multi-Purpose Room, and there will be an opportunity for Q & A.
