MD STEM Festival Event - Hunt for Aliens

Join Science Connections to learn about outer space! Space is limited, registration required. Ages 6-10.

Calling all space explorers! This Halloween season, join Science Connections to go on your very own space hunt.  First learn about NASA technologies, then use your engineering skills to make your own cardboard rover and alien catcher to explore and hunt for aliens! Registration required. Register online or call 240-777-0200 beginning 3 weeks before the event.  For children ages 6 - 10.  Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

The Maryland STEM Festival is a month-long celebration of science, technology, engineering and mathematics designed to advance STEM and STEAM education for children and teens that takes place every fall.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
