Internet Basics - In-person

Registration required

We'll go over computer basics, what the Internet is, web browsers, search engines, and getting started with email. This is a hands-on class to help you use the Internet in daily life situations.

The program will be held in the Computer Lab on the second floor of the Community/Recreation Center. There will be time to bring up individual questions.

Questions about this program? Contact the Library at 240-777-0678.

The Library has various resources linked on its website that support self-paced learning about computers and technology:https://mcpl.aspendiscovery.org/WebBuilder/ResourcesList#ComputersTechnologyPanel

Most of these require the use of a current MCPL card account to access. Don't have a card right now?  No worries!  Find out how to Get a Library Card.
