Villages as Social Connectors

The DHHS table will provide information about the Villages in Montgomery County.

Villages are local, volunteer-led, grassroots organizations that aim to support community members who choose to age in place.  Information about Villages will be available in the lobby of the Wheaton Library. Find out more about what is a Village, membership, being part of a social group, and volunteer opportunities.

Villages son organizaciones de base local, dirigida por voluntarios, que tienen por objetivo apoyar a aquellas personas de la communidad que eligen envejecer en sus casas. Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
