Learn how to code using Scratch, an MIT created programing language used to create stories, games and animation using visual blocks of code.

Come join us and learn how to create computer programs with the visual coding language Scratch.  It is highly recommended that you attend all of the classes to gain a good understanding of Scratch and how it can be used to create stories, animation, and games.  For further information please visit the following web site https://scratch.mit.edu/

Course is for students ages 9-14.  Students will need to bring their own laptop or check out a loaner laptop from the library (there are a very limited number of loaner laptops and they can only be loaned to individuals 14 years of age or older -- a parent may check out a laptop for younger students for a period of 3 hours in the library).
