Please join us for Family Storytime with Officer Beard. She will be reading the following books: Officer Buckle and Gloria, I'm Afraid Your Teddy's in Trouble Today, and Police Officers on Patrol.

Please join us for Family Storytime with Police Officer Beard.  Officer Beard is with the Montgomery County Police Department, 4th District (Wheaton/Aspen Hill, Olney). She has been in the department for 23 years.

She will be reading the following titles:
 

  • Officer Buckle and Gloria- by Peggy Rathmann
  • I'm afraid your Teddy's in Trouble Today- by Jancee Dunn
  • Police Officers on Patrol -by Kersten Hamilton

These programs are designed to delight children of all ages and are filled with diverse stories and activities that promote and develop language skills and imagination. These programs encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning and introduce them to the culture of reading.
