Paint and decorate your own canvas tote bag and bring home a personalized keepsake honoring MCPL's 75th Anniversary.

Celebrate MCPL's 75th Anniversary and bring your creativity to life by decorating your own library bags! Kids will have a blast turning ordinary canvas bags into colorful masterpieces using bright paints, fun designs, and their imaginations. This hands-on craft is easy, engaging, and perfect for all skill levels. Join us for a lively, mess-free art experience that encourages creativity, confidence, and plenty of smiles! We will provide all the materials for this program. This program is designed for children ages 5-12 years old. Limited to 30 participants. Free tickets available in-person 30 minutes before the event at the children’s information desk.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
