Join the African American Authors group to read and learn about books by authors of African, Caribbean, and African American descent. This group meets on the 4th Sunday of the month at Germantown Library. This month the group is discussing
Promise Rachel Eliza Griffiths. Promise follows two Black sisters in 1957 Maine as they face rising racism in their small town. As the Civil Rights Movement begins to stir, they confront danger, discover their own strength, and fight to protect their family and dreams.
This event will take place in the Group Meeting Room 5 on the lower level.
