In this class, you’ll learn basic use a desktop computer, go online, and send emails. By the end, you’ll understand how to use a computer, in everyday life.
In this class, you’ll learn how to use a computer, go online, and send emails. The class begins on February 2rd and meets twice a week. By the end, you’ll understand how to use a computer to help you in everyday life. It will take place in the Computer Lab on the 2nd floor of the Germantown Library. This class is presented by Senior Planet with Oats by AARP.

All classes are one hour and will begin at 11:00AM and end at 12:00PM. Please be on time. You will receive a course workbook with this class.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to use a computer
How to search the internet
How to send and get emails, using Gmail.
What You Need:
Some experience using the internet on any device.
Important Info:
You must register/sign-up to join this 6 week class.
Each class builds on content/lesson from the last class, so try not to miss a class.
Please plan to attend at least 8 out of the 10 classes.
Attendance is limited to 12 people because of the availability of computers,

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
