All are welcome to unwind with sensory tools that support relaxation, grounding, and focus. This program is specially created for teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
During this program, you can explore options such as:
Small weighted blankets
Adult fidget toys
Sand art picture sensory toys
Coloring sheets
Reading
Puzzles
Pop It Stress Ball
And more!
This program is intended for teens and adults, including teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Please note: this program is not suitable for children.
Program meets in the lower level large meeting room.
The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Montgomery County Public Library.
Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
