One on One Computer Help for Beginners

Registration required. Call 240-773-9545 on Wednesday mornings at 10am to register for your 30 minute individual computer help session. Please note that this is not a formal class.
Get help with basic computer skills including:
· Saving and managing files
· Navigating the internet
· Setting up and using email
· Using the library’s website and e-resources
· Downloading/streaming e-books, audiobooks, and more

Registration opens two weeks prior to the program date. Registration for this program will open on 5/20/26.
NOTE: patrons can only sign up for one 30-minute session each day and must be present for the scheduled appointment time to receive help.
Check in at the Information Desk for your 30 minute appointment. Bring your library card, devices, and any information that you need related to your questions, including account logins and passwords.
We cannot assist with:
· Fixing physical hardware components
· Removing malware or scanning for malware
· Downloading apps and software from unknown sources
· Filling out online forms involving personal information
· Proofreading documents
