STEAM at the Library: Bruster's Ice Cream

Beat the heat on a hot summer afternoon and learn about the science of making ice cream!
What better way to cool off on a hot summer day than with a scoop of delicious ice cream?
Come to the Olney Library for a presentation on what ice cream making looks like at Bruster's Real Ice Cream in Gaithersburg, MD! You will have the opportunity to make your own ice cream in a bag, as well as sample a treat from Bruster's Real Ice Cream!
This program is designed for children ages 6 to 11 years of age. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
