Happy Hallo'Zine!

Calling all artists! Bring your artwork, we're making a BG Teen Zine

Bring your art, writing, poetry, etc. and add it to our BG teen Halloween-zine. Learn about the local and cultural history of zines and see modern examples in person.

Make new art or write a spooky story with your friends at the event! Supplies for collage, linocut making, and short story prompts will all be available in addition to regular art supplies like watercolors and colored pencils. Take home your originals day of and the zines will be bound and ready to pick up a week after the event. 

We'll be meeting in the 3rd Floor Meeting Room.

DC Punk Archive Zine Library (DCPL)

Join us every Wednesday night for activities for teens. There will be a wide variety of activities including movies, gaming, arts & craft, Lo-fi Study sessions, guest speakers, and more! Ask to speak with our Teen Librarians for more detailed information on what's planned each week. Have fun with friends, make new ones, or just hang out. Drop ins welcome, no registration needed! Snacks and SSL hours provided!

This program is for ages 13-19. Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program.
