Pajama Storytime and Stuffed Animal Sleepover

An evening storytime where pajamas are encouraged but not required. Kids are also welcome to bring a stuffed animal to drop off after story time to spend the night at the library!

An evening storytime where pajamas are encouraged but not required. These 25-30-minute evening programs are designed to delight children of all ages and are filled with diverse stories and activities that promote and develop language skills and imagination. These programs encourage children to develop a lifelong love of reading and learning and introduce them to the culture of reading.

This story time will be held in the fifth floor children's program room.

Children can bring a stuffed animal to drop off after story time to spend the night at the library! You might be surprised what your stuffed animals get up to when you're not around!

Stuffed Animals will be able to be picked up the next day starting at 10AM from the 5th floor desk.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
