Take a look and sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge! After signing up, teens can stop by their local library branch to pick out a free book! For every book read, program attended or activity completed, earn one raffle ticket on ReadSquared to put towards prizes! The grand prize is a Lenovo Gaming Laptop, while the branch prizes are Art Supplies, a Mini Fridge & Water Bottle, and Raycon Earbuds. If you cannot complete the challenge online, bring your completed paper card to your local library and a staff member will help you enter your raffle tickets.

You don't need a library card to attend programs or sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge, but you should get one to take advantage of hundreds of free resources from MCPL. Find out how to Get a Library Card.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
