Create your own zine—a self-published, DIY magazine—while learning about the local history and community behind this creative practice.
Calling all artists, writers, geeks, punks, and fans! Whether you make your own comics or have strong opinions on your favorite bands, join us to create your own zine—a self-published, DIY magazine—while learning about the local history and community behind this creative practice. Art supplies, collage materials, and zine prompts will be provided. Participants will also learn how to create copies of their zines to trade with peers using library equipment, so everyone will leave this workshop with multiple zines to start (or extend!) their zine collection
Library program attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program.
