Explore the history, science and creative possibilities of animation as you create three optical toys: a thaumatrope, a zoetrope strip, and a flip-book.

Registration required. Art supplies will be provided to be used during the workshop. Space is limited to 15 participants ages 10-15.

This workshop, led by artist Leila Cabib, is funded in part by a Wheaton Cultural Project Grant from the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
