The Women's Caucus for Art of Greater DC will announce its 2024 Visual Arts Scholarship winner at an opening reception for its exhibit of student submissions at the Connie Morella Library.
Come join us as the Connie Morella Library hosts the annual scholarship presentation by the Women's Caucus for Art of Greater DC at a reception opening its month-long exhibit of student-submitted artwork. Light refreshments will be available along with the opportunity to meet members of the organization and some of its student artists whose works will be on display at the library through late July. All are welcome!
The Women’s Caucus for Art of Greater Washington, DC (WCADC) Visual Arts Scholarship recognizes artistic excellence among 12th grade female-identifying Black, Indigenous, Persons of Color (BIPOC), enrolled in a high school within the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia. Students must be intending to pursue a visual fine arts program of study in a two or four-year university or college. In addition, female-identifying BIPOC first and second-year college students from the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia enrolled in a visual arts program may also apply. Applicants are judged on creativity, originality, and quality. More information about the organization and its scholarship program can be found at https://www.wcadc.org/.
