Back to School Bonanza
School Supply Drive & Swap
Wednesday, August 12
4:00pm - 6:00pm
Donate new and gently used school supplies and take what you need to get ready for the Fall!
Get ready for back-to-school! Join us in the 3rd Floor Meeting Room where we will be hosting a school supply drive and swap.
We will have a limited supply of basic school supplies such as pencils, pens, composition notebooks, and 1-subject spiral notebooks, for our teens. Please bring any additional unwanted supplies you might have so that someone else can put them to good use!
Decorate your own pencil case with fabric markers and patches, make motivational buttons to decorate your backpack, and help us sort donations of new and lightly used school supplies.
SSL hours will be available for sorting out donated items and creating giveaway buttons.
This program is for ages 12-18. Donations from all ages will be accepted throughout the program. Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program.
Did you know that program attendance counts towards your summer reading goal? Learn more about this year's Summer Reading Challenge!
Join us every Wednesday night for activities for teens. There will be a wide variety of activities including movies, gaming, arts & craft, Lo-fi Study sessions, guest speakers, and more! Ask to speak with our Teen Librarians for more detailed information on what's planned each week. Have fun with friends, make new ones, or just hang out. Drop ins welcome, no registration needed!
