“Unearth a Story" Summer Reading Challenge Party - Adults After Hours Special Event

Join us for a special after-hours, adults event celebrating the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge, “Unearth a Story,” at Quince Orchard Library! We will have games, crafts and much more!

Drop-in and celebrate with us any time between 6:00p, and 8:00pm. Register for the Summer Reading Challenge, play games, and make arts and crafts.

Games

• 6:00-7:00: Jeopardy! at Your Library: register here (Limited to 20 attendees)
• 7:00-8:00: Jeopardy! at Your Library: register here (Limited to 20 attendees)
• 6:00-8:00: Dinosaur Escape Room: style logic mystery game
• 6:00-8:00: Community jigsaw puzzle and crossword table

Crafts

• 6:00-8:00: Create a personalized wooden bookmark 
• 6:00-8:00: Make a pixel perler bead dinosaur keychain
• 6:00-8:00: Zen coloring

During the event, library staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions about the Summer Reading Challenge, assist with sign-ups, and provide materials for those who register.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
