For August's meeting, we will be discussing The Dark Maestro by Brendan Slocumb

A cello prodigy from D.C. must enter witness protection when his drug-dealing father turns informant, forcing him to abandon his music career until he and his family decide to take on the criminals themselves. The novel follows Curtis Wilson as he navigates the classical music world and a dangerous criminal underworld, blending themes of art, crime, sacrifice, and loyalty.
