Learn how to avoid fraud, identity theft, and scams from the perspective and experience of a large financial institution.

Vanda Cardoso Alano will discuss financial safety from a banking and financial institution perspective.

She will:

  • Explain the difference between fraud, identity theft, and scams.
  • Educate you about how fraudsters target you and your loved ones.
  • Identify ways you can help protect yourself and your money.
  • Provide the steps to take if you do become a victim.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
