Learn techniques for processing your digital photography images.
At the Rockville Memorial Library, a series of three classes will be taught on workflow and techniques for processing digital photography images. All are welcome regardless of experience and skill level.
Saturday, September 27 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM:
Class 1 will provide an overview of the essential workflow pertinent to archiving, processing, and exporting digital photography images.
Saturday, October 4 at 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM:
Class 2 will teach advanced post-processing techniques for balancing exposure, masking, and color composition for optimizing digital photography images.
Saturday, October 18 at 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM:
Class 3 will be a 2-hour hands-on workshop where instructional guidance will be provided as you process your digital photographic images on your laptop computer using Adobe Lightroom CC software. Attendees without a laptop computer or Adobe Lightroom CC software are invited to observe and learn from the breakout workgroups.
This series is open to adults as well as teens ages 16 years and older and you are not required to attend the whole series. The workshops will meet in the 2nd floor Adult Programming Room. No registration required.
Having navigated across oceans and continents with camera in hand, the instructor, William Michaels, brings four decades of interdisciplinary expertise in science and photography to promote public awareness on the benefits for protecting our planet’s wildlife and natural habitats.
