Join us for a foreign film screening the second Sunday of each month. This month's film is The Real Mo Farah.
In this deeply personal and emotionally powerful film, Mo Farah, Somali-born British hero of the London 2012 Olympics, and one of the most successful athletes in history, reveals for the first time the truth about his early life and explore the extraordinary story he has kept hidden until now.
His journey will take him from his family home in Surrey back to the streets of West London and the school where he was first spotted as a phenomenal young athlete. He’ll travel back to his family village in Somaliland to ask his mother and twin brother what they know of the traumatic childhood event that changed his life forever. Finally, he will turn to the Somali community in London, in the hope that they can explain the mystery at the heart of his life.
