In this 5-session class, you will write and illustrate your own graphic novel page.
In this 5-session class, you will write and illustrate your own graphic novel page. Using all the conventions of graphic novel storytelling: narration, dialogue, character design, dynamic page layouts and cinematic techniques, participants will create their own graphic novel page. Refine rough pencil drawings into finished art with pen and ink and watercolor pencils.
Registration and attendance to all 5 sessions are required. Space is limited. Art supplies will be provided.
This class is facilitated by artist Leila Cabib and is funded in part by a Maryland State Arts Council Arts in Education Grant.
