Come read to a certified therapy dog!
School age children are welcome to practice reading to PAL (People Animals Love) certified therapy dog Lily. Our program is for kids learning to read and those who want to improve their confidence in reading skills (K-5th grades). Sign up at the Information Desk starting 30 minutes before the program (10:30 am). Each reader gets a 10-minute one-on-one reading session. First come, first served.

Accommodation Requests
People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
