The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meets on the second Thursday of the month from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm at the Germantown Library. You earn SSL hours for each TAB meeting!
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) helps the library and the community by implementing, promoting and advocating for teen services in Montgomery County. TAB will provide feedback on programs, assist librarians with planning and running events and will be library advocates. Occasionally, TAB will feature guest speakers from the community. You earn SSL hours for each TAB meeting!
TAB meets on the second Thursday of the month from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm at the Germantown Library. Snacks will be provided.
Fill out the volunteer application available at the library or download at https://montgomerycountymd.gov/library/about/volunteer.html. All applicants must be 13 or in 8th grade at time of application up to 17 or 18 and a Senior in high school. For the Volunteer’s Area of Specialty, please write “TAB.” Please bring your parent or caregiver signed application to your first meeting.

Accommodation Requests
People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend. Contact the Assistant Facilities and Accessibility Program Manager at 240-777-0002 with all other accommodation requests.
