Find out about the Maryland Apprenticeship Program and what it could mean to your future
Are you between 13-19 years of age? Are you about to graduate from high school? Will you graduate from high school in the foreseeable future? Do you hope to someday graduate from high school? Do you know what you will be doing in that (hopefully) vast span of time known as "after?" This program might be for you!
Join us as Apprenticeship Navigators Aneta Lefterov and Gwendolyn Filipiak (Maryland Department of Labor) talk to us about things you can do after high school, like developing indispensable skills that will enable you to serve your community and maintain a positive cash flow! Ask them anything!
If you are interested in helping shape library programs and spaces for service-learning hours, join us for our TAB meetings which we hold every month. Each month we gather to discuss how to improve teen services at MCPL. We offer free snacks, SSL hours, and often have guest speakers from the community on teen interests. You can be leaders in the community, on college campuses, and good citizens of the world.
