Intro to Artificial Intelligence Tools and Getting Started- In-person

Interested in AI but haven't had an opportunity to learn more on your own? Attend this 3-week hands-on workshop to learn the basics and more. Attendance at every class is recommended.
The class will cover topics including AI Foundations, Prompting Fundamentals, AI Graphics, among others, and will take place in the Computer Lab, on the second floor of the building within the Recreation Center. Attendees should be able to type and be comfortable doing basic tasks on a computer keyboard. This is NOT a computer class for beginners. The presenter has experience as a UI/UX & Web Modernization Leader with over 20 years of experience delivering digital platforms for federal agencies, including NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
