Energy Express

Learn about energy usage with Energy Express! Join us on an exciting program for travelers as we embark on a global adventure to explore renewable energy worldwide!

For ages 6 to 12 years old. Registration is required. Parents/caregivers MUST accompany children under the age of 8 during the program. 

As a partnership between the Department of Environmental Protection, Nature Forward, and Montgomery County Public Libraries, this presentation will take the annual Summer Reading Program theme and add an energy lens to it! P.O.W.E.R, or Peer Outreach With Energy Resources, is an energy education program organized by the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and Nature Forward.

Preregistration begins May 15. Log activities from June 14 – August 31, 2024.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
