STEAM at the Library:

Salt Painting and Pattern Block Snowflakes

Join us for an afternoon of STEM where we paint with salt and use geometry to create snowflake art!

Did you know you can paint with salt? Come and learn how it works!

While you wait for your salt paintings to be ready, we will also use geometry to create pattern block snowflakes!

This is a hands-on STEAM activity. All supplies provided. Program is designed for children ages 8 and above.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
