Calling all readers ages 9-12! Join Bookworms! The book for October is "Haru, Zombie Dog Hero" by Ellen Oh. Physical copies of this book can be found on Olney’s Book Discussion Book Shelf and checked out at the customer service desk at the Olney Library. This title is also available in e-book and e-audio format in Hoopla. Copies for the following month will be available at the event. 

If you love to read, discuss books and meet new people then this is the place for you! Come for a monthly meeting and discuss books chosen by a librarian just for this age group. Check out and read each book before coming to the book club meeting. We’ll read books covering a wide range of genres and themes featuring characters your age. Each session’s lively and interactive discussions will relate to the major topics and themes of the book in a fun and engaging way.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
