Gaithersburg Book Festival Continued

Come listen to some exciting children's book authors!

Following the Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday, May 20th, join us for a Sunday afternoon at Gaithersburg Library as we hear from multiple children's book authors and illustrators to find out what inspires them to create their books.

Schedule:

12:30 p.m. Joyce Hesselberth, picture book author and illustrator.

1:00 p.m. Joan Waites, picture book author and illustrator.

1:30 p.m. June Smalls, picture book author.

2:00 p.m. Valerie Tripp, chapter book author.

2:30 p.m. Dave Roman, graphic novel author and illustrator. 

3:00 p.m. Jonathan Roth, graphic novel author.

3:30 p.m. John Gallagher, graphic novel author.

4:00 p.m. Fred Bowen, chapter book author.

These 30-minute author presentations will be held on the 2nd floor of the Gaithersburg Library, followed by book signings in Meeting Room 3. Books will be available to purchase at the event from the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County.

Recommended for ages 5 to Adult. Parents/caregivers MUST accompany children under the age of 12 during the program. 

This event is in partnership with the Gaithersburg Book Festival.

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
