Learn about how different pollinators help our plants grow!
Join the Master Gardeners of Montgomery County Cooperative Extension Service as we learn about what types of plants attract pollinators (trees, shrubs, flowers, and vegetables), how pollinators collect nectar and pollen, and the how they transfer pollen from one plant to another plant.
After the short talk we will go outside for a pollinator hunt in the Library's new pollinator garden!
For ages 4 to 12. Parents/caregivers MUST accompany children under the age of 8 during the program. Please dress your child in an outfit they are comfortable in to dig in the dirt.
