Ms. Bright will share her career path to becoming a traditionally published author.

Anna Bright is the author of HarperTeen YA novels The Beholder, The Boundless, The Song That Moves the Sun, The Hedgewitch of Foxhall in 2024, and Wings of Reverie, which will be published by Disney on August 4, 2026. In a starred review, Kirkus Reviews praised The Hedgewitch of Foxhall: "This comforting and cozy fantastical romance bursting with Welsh mythology [is] an atmospheric jewel box with sympathetic characters readers will root for from the first page." When not writing or working as an indie bookseller, Anna loves concerts, roller coasters, and adventures at home and abroad. Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
