This session provides nutrition education that respects & incorporates the cultural food practices of diverse communities. Registration recommended.

This training provides tailored nutrition education that respects and incorporates the cultural food practices, preferences, and traditions of diverse communities. By emphasizing culturally relevant dietary guidance, the program promotes healthier eating habits to prevent and manage chronic conditions like diabetes, kidney disease, high blood pressure, and heart disease while honoring cultural identity. Participants gain practical tools for making nutritious choices using familiar ingredients, fostering greater trust, engagement, and long-term health outcomes within the communities served. This training is presented by Community Engagement & Consultation Group (CE-CG), a nonprofit dedicated to whole person wellbeing.
