Practice chess in a non-competitive environment. Beginners welcome!
Chess Club is free to attend. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Please bring your own chess board if you can. The library has limited chess boards to loan out during this program. Practice chess in a non-competitive environment - beginners are welcome! We will meet the last Saturday of the month in the meeting room, 4-5:30pm. No registration necessary - just drop in! This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Library, Montgomery County, MD.

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.
If you plan to attend with a group of ten or more, please contact the branch at least one week before the program to discuss how your group might be accommodated.
