Fun for family and friends on an MCPS Early Release Day!

Looking for an indoor activity on a cold Early Release day from school? We'll have a variety of games, puzzles, coloring, and winter-themed crafts--fun for all ages! Friends and families welcome!

Come spend an afternoon at the library and maybe make new friends playing some of your favorite children's and family board and card games: Checkers, Chess, Candy Land, Go Fish, Connect Four, Bananagrams, Battleship, Sorry!, Pictionary, Apples to Apples, and more! Desktop puzzles, floor puzzles, a coloring station, and winter-themed crafts, too! Children, teens, and families welcome!

Library Program Attendance (both virtual and in the branch) is limited to participants within the suggested age range of the program. Children attending an MCPL program under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attending a program intended for children must have an accompanying child.

Accommodation Requests

People who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing should request English-language captioning or sign-language interpretation at least five days before the library-sponsored program they plan to attend.
