A Twisty Psychological Thriller About Identity, Ambition, and Deception.
For June's meeting, we will be discussing Who Is Maud Dixon? by Alexandra Andrews
A psychological thriller novel about Florence Darrow, who becomes the assistant to the reclusive, bestselling author Maud Dixon, whose real identity is a secret. The plot follows Florence as she travels with the author (whose real name is Helen Wilcox) to Morocco, where a car crash leaves Florence to consider assuming Helen's identity and the Maud Dixon persona. The book explores themes of ambition, reinvention, and literary fame.
