Join us as we talk to a guest from the Montgomery County Community Cat Coalition about how to help community cats (maybe stray or feral cats to you)! Bring a can of cat food and earn two SSL hours!
We will learn how to volunteer with MCCCC to help community cats, and we will build cat shelters! Cool cat-themed giveaways, and snacks as usual!
Sorry, older and younger cat fans! This is only for teens ages 13-17! We'll see if we can get our guests back for the rest of you later in 2026!

You may have heard that with great power comes great responsibility. You have the power to help us connect with area teens by joining the Wheaton Library Teen Advisory Board and recommending programming ideas and helping your community while you gain SSL hours!
Each month we gather to discuss how to improve teen services at MCPL. We offer free snacks, SSL hours, and often have guest speakers from the community on teen interests. You can also join our TAB leadership which prepares teens for being leaders in the community, on college campuses, and good citizens of the world.
