October is LGBTQ+ History Month, and what better way to celebrate than by learning about the queer past of our own state! Hear anecdotes about local figures, important protests, and gay culture of yore from public librarian and historian Ben Egerman.
About the presenter
Ben Egerman is a public librarian and historian living in Baltimore, Maryland. He travels to libraries throughout the state (or at least most of it) speaking about Maryland’s LGBTQ+ history. He’s trying this new thing out. We’ll see how it works.
