Award-winning poet Hailey Leithauser will read and talk about her poetry with us, followed by an open mic for participant poetry.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Pearl Foundation, we will enjoy hearing Hailey Leithauser read and talk about her poetry. The reading will be followed by an open mic at which participants are invited to read a poem they have written.
Hailey Leithauser’s books are SWOOP, which won the Poetry Foundation’s Emily Dickinson First Book Award and the Towson Prize for Literature; and SAINT WORM. Her work appears widely in journals and anthologies such as Poetry, the Gettysburg Review, Agni, Hopkins Review, The Yale Review, and four editions of Best American Poetry.
