Wendy Shang, author of the American Girl “Corinne” books, will show how she draws on history to create compelling characters & stories. Registration Required!

Wendy Shang, author of the 2022 American Girl "Corinne" books and Black-Eyed Susan nominee--The Secret Battle of Evan Pao--will show audiences how she draws on Chinese American history to create compelling stories. Participants will then be guided through a writing exercise to think about histories for their own characters and stories. Ages 10 to 14.  REGISTRATION REQUIRED!
