Money! Is it good? Is it bad? How do I get more of it? What is a good investment? What is an investment?

You've probably wondered about all these things at least a little bit. Not obsessively, because you're not a weirdo. But you've heard these terms and ideas thrown around, and you probably wondered about them for a minute. You probably also know that they're important, and some day you will have to start thinking about how they apply to your life. Why not start now, just a little bit? You may not be specifically interested in finance, but it's interested in you!

Dip your toe into the vast pool of financial knowledge that our special guest, Suzanne McGovern, makes available! Suzanne has a long history of making finance and financial literacy understandable and interesting to audiences of all ages.

Oh yeah, and of course we're providing much needed SSL hours and snacks as always!

Join us for our Teen Advisory Board Night the second Wednesday of every month! Are you interested in helping shape library programs and spaces for service-learning hours? Each month we gather to discuss how to improve teen services at MCPL. We offer free snacks, 4 SSL hours, and often have guest speakers from the community on teen interests. You can also join our TAB leadership which prepares teens for being leaders in the community, on college campuses, and good citizens of the world.
